Key Responsibilities:
- Client Management:
- Act as Virtual CFO, managing client relationships for financial health.
- Provide expert advice, innovative solutions, and strategic guidance.
- Financial Oversight:
- Review and analyse management accounts, dashboards, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, reviewing financial statements and tax returns.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage staff workflow, development, and performance.
- Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment, setting goals and providing feedback.
- Strategic Planning:
- Proactively contribute ideas for client challenges, driving innovation.
- Develop long-term financial plans aligned with client objectives.
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Liaise with regulatory bodies such as the ATO for compliance matters.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports to clients, highlighting key insights.
- Process Improvement:
- Drive efficiencies internally and for clients, innovating processes.
- Utilise advanced accounting software like Xero for streamlined operations.
About You:
- Shows outstanding efficiency and productivity, consistently delivering top-notch work quickly.
- Holds a degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Holds a CA or CPA qualification.
- Brings 5+ years of experience in Business Services or a related role.
- Proficient in advanced use of Xero and intermediate Excel.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership.
- Capable of managing multiple deadlines and clients effectively.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrates a desire to challenge oneself and the status quo, possessing a curious mind.
- Must be an Australian Tax Resident
