Main Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying issues in accounting
- Supports in crafting financial statements that align with accounting standards
- Ability to accurately apply knowledge of industry trends as well as clients and firm, to assess current issues
- Meticulously preparing work papers when tasks are completed
- Ability to apply procedures of basic tax compliance
- Help with tax planning initiatives for clients
- Management accounts and review financial statements in order to reduce errors and references
- Preparing income tax returns for companies, individuals and trusts
- Adhering to lodgement requirements
- Accurately completes regulatory forms
- Prior experience in a similar role, in a professional services environment required
- CA or equivalent preferred
- Business degree, Accounting Major, or relevant equivalent
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
