Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced accountant to work for our group. You are expected to provide accounting service to companies within the group.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reporting preparation (i.e. Business Activity Statements, Financial Report, and Tax Returns, Gross Margin, etc.)
- Assist Financial Controller and Management Accountant with the annual budget and periodical forecast for GM. preparation
- Examine incomes and operational expenditures against budget to determine the
company’s financial performance
- Prepare, manipulate, and analyze financial data for asset, liability, and capital account entries
- Interpret financial results and provide advice on business operations and taxation matters
- Manage and maintain financial accounts including the general ledger and debtor account
- Assist Financial Controller and Management Accountant to complete annual internal and external audit
- Maintain financial databases and accounting filing systems to ensure the timely backup, accuracy, and security of all financial documents
- Coordinate with other business units regarding financial and accounting procedures to support the efficient operation of the finance and assets division
- Produce/assist with S.O.P development and S.O.P updates.
Required Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting
- At least 3 year’s experience as an accountant in Australia
- Proven records of undertaking reconciliations and managing general ledger
- Experience with budgeting and financial controls
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel.
- Good Knowledge of Outlook, Word, PowerPoint other Microsoft Office suite applications.
- At least 3 years' experience in one of SAP ECC/R3/S4 HANA.
- Eager to learn and can-do attitude
- Excellent communication skills with various levels of management
- Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritise deadlines and work under pressure.
- Personal and people management abilities including team building and conflict resolution.
- Good decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical abilities with a problem-solving attitude.
