ABOUT THE ROLE
The primary purpose of the role is to ensure the information in the P&L’s is accurate and in line with AASB standards as well as providing support to the Operational Team and financial matters..
Specific Responsibilities may include
Ensure P&L and balance sheet information is accurate and maintained to accounting standards
Analyse financial data and monitor KPI’s
Supervise the input and handling of financial data for the financial system including both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable’
Meet month end reporting deadlines
Liaise with Customers and be the first point of contact for all financial queries
Ensure that all accounting functions are carried out in accordance with company policy and procedures
Manage and maintain fixed asset register
Consolidation of all sites reconciliations
Other duties as assigned

Be Prepared To Work Safely
Report to duty in a fit state, free from fatigue the influence of alcohol or other drugs
Wear required Personal Protective Equipment and operate plant equipment safely
Participate in consultation activities regarding matters affecting your health, safety and welfare
Participate in relevant HSE training and maintaining your HSE related competencies
Engage in Work only when in possession of required and current Certificates of Competence
Qualifications and Experience
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of people
Advanced skills using Microsoft Office & Excel
Ability to work autonomously using a proactive approach to task resolution
Ability to work well within a small team environment
Key Competencies/Skills
Understanding of standard accounting rules & regulations in regard to the role
Ability to use Peoplesoft accounting system preferable
Familiarity with the concepts involved in multiple business unit / cost centre accounting
