About the business:
Located in Cantebury, in Sydney's South Western Suburbs, this business is looking to add to their team. Offering full autonomy, this person will have a varied role within a small but supportive team as you will be often in the office alone when the rest of the team are out completing their roles. A great opportunity for a self-starter, roll up your sleeves type person. This role is 16 hours per week and can be done over 2 or 3 days to suit your needs.
About the role:
The person will be responsible for the Bookkeeping and Administration of a small office. A thorough understanding of the XERO software program is a must. Proficient and able to work autonomously, you will be left alone to complete your work to a high level of accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Proficient use of XERO software
- Excel skills a must
- Understanding of Accounting processes
- Payroll
- Data entry
- General admin
- Bank reconciliation
- P&L
Experience required:
- Experience in a similar role
- Clear understanding of bookkeeping practices
- Experience with XERO
- Payroll
- Understanding of statements and P&L's
- Storeman software knowledge ideal but not mandatory
- Intermediate to advanced Excel and Word
- Attention to detail and accuracy
