Accountant

• Initial 6 month contract
• Immediate start
• Located in the CBD

We are recruiting for an experienced Accountant to join a dynamic Finance team on an initial 6 month contract. The role will be responsible for the provision of timely and accurate financial reporting.   

Reporting to the Finance Manager, key responsibilities include:

• Month end reporting.
• Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with the preparation of Board reports.
• Assist with the preparation of End-of-Year Financial Statements.
• Management reporting and working closely with non-finance stakeholders to assist with budgets and forecasting.
• Assist in various finance tasks, such as preparing Capital Expenditure request forms, maintaining the Fixed Asset Register, and supporting FBT Return preparation.
• Providing backup for Accounts Payable and Receivable.
• Provide support in the preparation of Business Plans.

   Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of accounting experience
• Ideally CA / CPA qualified or studying toward
• Strong reconciliation skills
• Experience in preparing monthly management reports
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of journals and financial statements
