We are a boutique tax and accounting firm with a 50 year legacy in Kenmore. We cater to businesses, families and individuals addressing many industries and professions. We are seeking someone who is detail-oriented to join our busy team.
Qualifications & experience
- Has Completed an Australian Accounting Degree
- CPA certified or working towards certification
- 1+ years experience in accounting field
- Experience in preparing tax returns, financial statements and activity statements
- Proficiency in accounting software (XERO, MYOB, Handisoft etc)
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound experience with Microsoft Office
Tasks & responsibilities
- Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs for various industries.
- Preparation of business activity statements and instalment activity statements
- Liase with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
- ADHOC Industry support as necessary
