Established in 1995, the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys seek to inspire the people of North Queensland with our achievements both on and off the field. The Cowboys are a cornerstone of the North Queensland community and are committed to promoting the interests of our great region. This role is based in Townsville at the Hutchinson Builders Centre, the home of the Cowboys, adjacent to Queensland Country Bank Stadium.
About the Role
We seek a Graduate Business Intelligence Analyst to play a pivotal role as part of our commitment to leveraging data-driven insights to enhance our commercial sales functions and drive revenue growth. This entry level position, reporting directly to the Head of Sales and Insights, will champion data quality, data accuracy and play a pivotal role in supporting our consumer membership sales team by analysing and interpreting data insights to support data-driven decision-making and optimise revenue and overall performance. This role presents a unique opportunity for a recent graduate with a passion for Business Intelligence and data analytics to gain hands-on experience in a unique and dynamic sales environment and contribute to the continued success of our Club.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Recent qualification with a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics or a related field.
• Demonstrated skills in Power BI or Tableau to create visually compelling reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; supporting skillsets across data analysis and related programming languages (SQL, Python) will be highly regarded.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 skills (desirable).
• Previous experience or coursework in professional sports, Business Intelligence, data analysis, or related fields is desirable but not required.
• Previous experience in ticketing and membership will be highly regarded.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
• Proactive and self-motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
