This is a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with financial reporting, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and learning within a supportive team environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare financial statements, reports, payrolls, and budgets under the guidance of our financial controller.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Analyse and reconcile bank statement daily.
- Prepare journal entries and synthesize common ledger for subsidiary accounts.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including payments, collections, payment allocations, processing credits and reviewing invoices.
- Perform cash management duties including deposit review, draws, reconciliation, cash accounts balances.
- Prepare and file local compliance reports.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting-related issues.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Relevant qualification at the level of a Bachelor Degree or higher.
- Strong communication skills.
- Keen to details and great in problem solving and analysing data.
- Must be good with Microsoft Office, Word and Excel and Pronto system.
- Good team player that can also work independently in a fast-paced environment.
