Hope Earle Lawyers & Advisors are pleased to offer a part time role as an internal bookkeeper or accountant on an ongoing basis.
This role requires someone who has a degree or diploma in Accounting or Cert IV Bookkeeping and candidates who have accounting experience in professional services will be favourably considered.

You must be familiar with Microsoft applications and usual computer interface programs including browser and file management software.

Key responsibilities include:
- Manage account receivable and accounts payable
- Proficiency in bookkeeping (Xero or MYOB preferred).
- Bank & expenses (Credit Card) reconciliations.
- Process daily bank payments and Staff Expenditure reimbursement.
- Operating the General Ledger Accounts and Trust Account.
- Liaise with company accountants for reporting periods including all necessary monthly, quarterly and annual financial and tax reporting and to assist and prepare further documentation as necessary.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Process invoices and payments in accordance with company policies.
Selection Criteria
As an integral member of the team, we would expect you to have a strong work ethic and full experience along with:
- Relevant degree or diploma in Accounting or Cert IV Bookkeeping.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or general office administration (with accounting focus).
- Proficiency in accounting software to handle financial tasks efficiently and with sharp focus on deadline tasks such as reporting dates.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, demonstrating problem-solving skills and initiative.
- Strong proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word.
