ABOUT YOU
You will hold 1-2 years’ experience in accounts payable role with a strong understanding and proven experience using both Xero & Excel.
You will have excellent organisational, time management and communication skills and be committed to providing exceptional customer service across all channels (written, phone and face to face).
You will display high attention to detail and ability to show critical thinking along with a willingness to assist and support others as required. You will demonstrate the ability to work autonomously under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The deliverables of the role include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining various accounting documents and records,
- Ensuring all files are kept up to date
- Inputting and coding invoices to the correct cost codes and Job Numbers across a diverse variety of projects
- Matching Invoices to the relevant Purchase Orders and marking them as billed within the databases
- Assist with company finance reconciliations including supplier statement matching
- Scheduling and producing Prompt Payment reports based on company payment terms
- Preparation and delivery of Monthly Reports whilst assisting with EOM Processes
- Preparation and distribution of End of Month batch files for processing
- Distribution of Remittance advices following payments
- Completion of Credit Applications for new accounts, Reconciliation of Credit Cards on a monthly basis
- Reconciliation of fuel account on a monthly basis
- Investigate and remediate accounting enquiries
- Assisting the procurement team with the raising of company branded purchase orders,
- Be the first point of contact with debtors
- Required administrative tasks such as opening new projects in the Project Management Software
- Generalised Administrative tasks as required
- Other duties as directed by Senior Management
