The CANBERRA IRISH CLUB is seeking the services of a Office Administrator.
This is a permanent part-time role of approximately 25-30 hours per week.
About The Role
Reporting to the General Manager, a great opportunity exists for an experienced and organised Officer Administrator. The main focus of this role will be providing administrative, operational and customer service support to the General Manager. This role requires someone who is calm under pressure and has a high level of attention to detail with the ability to work unsupervised. You will have the autonomy to drive the operations and administration function confidently and effectively and will ensure the office is running smoothly on a day to day basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- High computer literacy with demonstrated ability to learn and adapt quickly to different systems.
- Responsible for all data entry including, updating and maintaining MYOB and spreadsheets.
- Manning telephone with a pleasant and friendly manner.
- Providing administration support to the General Manager as required.
- Submitting purchase order requests and checking invoices.
- General reporting as required.
- Purchasing office supplies, consumables, and equipment.
- Ad hoc duties as required
Selection Requirements:
- Intermediate Office 365 (experienced with Excel, Outlook and Microsoft suites)
- Self-motivated with the ability to be pro-active and solution driven with tasks.
- Data Entry with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Exceptional people and communication skills
- Great time management
- Well organised and analytical
