Our fully stocked showroom also offers a wide selection of repair accessories and paint direct to the public. We are a thriving family owned and run business, conveniently located in Thomastown. We are looking for an experienced, proactive Accounts Administrator to join our friendly and supportive team.
Qualifications & experience
- Experience in a similar Accounts role.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate with confidence and in a responsive manner, both written and verbally.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong and methodical approach to problem solving.
- Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing requirements in a busy office environment.
- Strong work ethic, reliable and honest.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Entry of supplier invoices and reconciliation of statements.
- Management of relationships with suppliers and handling queries.
- Entering data accurately and efficiently.
- Collecting & processing payments from customers using various methods like cash, cheque, credit cards, or electronic transfers. Including daily bank reconciliations.
- Compare received payments with the invoiced amounts to ensure accuracy. Investigate and resolve any billing disputes or discrepancies raised. Collaborate with relevant internal departments to address and rectify issues.
- Processing of customer statements.
- Debt collecting by phone and email.
- Processing credit applications.
- Ad-Hoc duties as required by management.
- Identifying and developing process improvements and implementation to increase efficiencies within the team and business.
