Swan Towing has over 35 years’ experience in the Recovery & Transport Industry providing recovery solutions for Heavy Vehicles, Plant & Equipment as well as Cars of all Makes & Models for a wide range of industries such as Mining, Transport, Civil, Dept of Defence, Insurance Companies and many more, servicing the entire state.

The Role

Based in Midvale we are looking to appoint an experienced Accounts All rounder to join our admin team on a full time basis. The role will include aspects of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll and Document Control. The successful applicant will be trained across a number of roles. 

The role will include but not be limited to:

• Entering invoices into MYOB Advanced(ERP software)
• Data Entry for Accounts Receivable and Payables 
• Document Control for AR / AP and Payroll
• Transfer data from hard copy to a digital database.
• Attending to the account’s mailboxes, actioning and escalating as required 
• Other general accounting and ad-hoc duties as required. 
• Electronic filing of remittance advices and other forms of communication (we are going paperless) 
• Update supplier information as required.
• Update customer information as required.
• Assist Compliance Officer with data entry and ad hoc duties 
• Using our data dispatch system (Tow Manager) to update customer/supplier details.
• Assist in any areas of office administration as required

To be successful for the position the following skills must be demonstrated:

• Previous experience in an Accounts data entry role 
• Experience in the Transport Industry  
• High to advanced level of computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Experience with accounting Software (we currently use MYOB Advanced which is a cloud based ERP system- Acumatica) 
• Knowledge of WAHVA highly regarded 
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills 
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team 
• A proactive approach with the capacity to problem solve with highly developed analytical skills
