We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to assist with daily accounts, data entry and general office duties, for a family farming operation based in Anketell.
This is an integral role for the ongoing success of the business and requires a ‘can-do’ attitude.
The role is diverse and requires someone who has the proven ability to deal with varied personalities and unique situations within the farming environment
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Day to day running of the office,
- Processing orders and tracking deliveries,
- Answering phone calls,
- Attending to the farm shop,
- Following through on emails,
- Liaising with suppliers, contractors, and clients,
- Data entry of bills and credit management of debtors,
- Assisting with allocation of budget figures quarterly,
- Reconciling stock movements and maintaining inventory allocations,
- Preparing and dispatching orders,
- Logging and tracking collections/drop-offs and servicing of items/equipment,
- Stationery and farm/warehouse orders.
Key requirements:
- Happy disposition, able to work autonomously.
- Enthusiastic attitude.
- Accounts experience preferably using XERO.
- Computer literate, with the ability to troubleshoot printers etc.,
- Great organisation skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritise.
- Punctual, reliable, and organised.
- Knowledge in using Microsoft Office Suite / Office 365 / Excel
- Current police clearance, and able to pass a Police Intergrity Check
We’re interested in speaking with experienced Senior Accounts/Office Administrators with exposure to accounts payable and receivables, ideally in Xero. Applicants with previous experience working across multiple businesses will be highly regarded.
