North West Mining & Civil Pty Ltd (NWMC) is a leading provider of construction and building services including concrete services, building construction, building maintenance and waste management for mining and commercial clients.
NWMC operates in Karratha, Tom Price and across multiple surrounding mines, camps, commercial and residential premises in all facets of civil and construction works.
Responsibilities
- Invoice to Customers, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal and external processes and customer requirements.
- Credit control.
- Weekly Cash Forecast Reporting.
- Process Supplier invoices, 2 and 3-way matching.
- Process payroll and all associated payroll functions (If you do not have payroll experience, full training & coaching will be available).
- End-of-Month Journals and Reconciliations.
- Ad hoc Accounts Support Functions as they arise/are requested.
- Ad hoc Administration Support Functions as they arise/are requested.
- Collaborate with other NWMC team members to resolve and follow up approvals in a timely manner.
Skills Required
- High level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Work well under pressure, be analytical, and have excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong numeracy skills.
- Should understand accounting principles.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Has a proven passion for continuous improvement of business systems.
- Microsoft Office knowledge, specifically Excel and Outlook
- Working knowledge of MYOB Business, Xero, Pronto or similar applications.
