Role Overview
The Accounts Assistant plays a pivotal role to contribute to the provision of complete, accurate and timely information for the association in addition to undertaking a range of accounting and administrative activities.
The role of Accounts Assistant enjoys supporting a small and collaborative team.
Scope of Role Includes:
- Perform accounting tasks including accounts receivable, accounts payable and other accounting and administrative matters.
- Assist in the maintenance of financial controls and procedures within the office.
- Assist to complete EOM/ EOY tasks in a timely manner.
- Assist with admin duties, taking customer payments and answering phones.
To be considered for this role you’ll have:
- Relevant Degrees or other accounting qualification achieved or studying.
- Minimum one-year actual work experience in a Accounts Assistant role
- Hands on experience with modular accounting software
- Advanced Excel skills
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft office package.
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- The ability to set priorities and multi-task in a deadline-driven environment.
- The ability to work unsupervised and follow procedures.
- Superb accuracy and attention to detail
- Enjoy working in a team.
