An expanding Australian subsidiary of a global company in the medical industry. They develop and sell products to the health industry. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Assistant to support the CFO and Accountant for a temporary period whilst they restructure the team.
Your new role
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Reviewing and processing supplier invoices and employee reimbursements
- Processing customer invoices and collections
- Reviewing and processing credit card reconciliations
- Assisting in general accounts management and reporting of ANZ
- Supporting and assisting with additional projects and / or ad-hoc tasks as required
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrated expertise in accounts payable, receivables, and reconciliations
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in general accounting, reporting and administration
- Sound knowledge of accounting and finance
- Systems experience using Oracle, Quick books, or Reckon
- Good working knowledge of MS Office Suite (including Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Team player with a can-do attitude
