We seek an enthusiastic, motivated, well presented and highly organised Full-Time Accounts Assistant to become an integral part of our friendly Mercedes-Benz Accounting Team.

Main Responsibilities of the Role:
As you will be a key contact person within our dealership, for clients, suppliers and our team members, it's very important to us that the successful candidate has a positive outlook and a friendly, helpful can-do attitude.
Main responsibilities include:
- Accurate recording via data entry of supplier invoices.
- Preparation of creditors’ accounts reconciliation to statements provided, including some large accounts.
- Payments of creditors’ accounts on a monthly and ad-hoc basis.
- Verifying and checking for completeness, accuracy and processing of motor vehicle sale transactions
- Reconciliation of some bank and general ledger accounts.
- Follow-up and managing to completion, a high volume of purchase orders and RO’s.
- Working in collaboration with the all other departments to enable effective workflow.
- Back up duties when other Accounts Assistants are absent or on leave.
Skills and experience:
- Experience in a similar accountancy based role is essential.
- Sound general PC skills and knowledge of Office applications (e-mail programs, MS Office, Internet and intranet, etc.)
- Knowledge of DMS such as ERALink or ERAPower would be an advantage, but not essential.
- Excellent communication & high level of organisational and time management skills
- A high level of integrity, accuracy and ability to learn new skills and procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours
- An ability to work cooperatively with both our team and management, to both assist and contribute to the success of our team.
