As the Accounts Assistant, you'll be responsible for ensuring the effective management of accounts receivable at YHA along with supporting effective food & beverage control.
Your responsibilities will encompass reconciling and reporting on debtor balances, investigating and rectifying irregularities, arranging for training of Managers and assisting with food & beverage control including; coding of invoices, checking income postings and processing stock takes.
You'll be joining a well-established Accounts team and will have the opportunity to develop your skills by assisting other team members as required.
What you'll bring:
- Minimum 2 years accounting experience (collection and reconciliation)
- Tertiary qualification in a related field (desirable)
- Prior experience with high volume processing
- Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills
- Ability to thrive in a busy environment and problem solve
- Great attention to detail, accuracy and analytical skills
