Following recent internal movement within the Finance team, there has been an opening for an Acounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Officer to join the team.
About the Role - Responsibilities
- Process of Non- trade invoices, including: rental, overhead, staff reimbursement, credit card invoices and payment processing.
- Reconcile AR and AP accounts, including general ledger and balance sheet
- Process foreign currency payments
- Managing intercompany AR and AP transactions
- Provide cash flow forecasts based on the Accounts Payable amount
- Involvement in the Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable management
- Issue Voucher, PIMI and related sales invoices, manage the AR receivables to ensure the debtors are under control
- Payment facilitation and ledger reconciliations
- Address and responding to Vendor queries
- Vendor statement reconciliations
- Manag Credit card reconciliation and Journals
- Assist in Office administration
- Assist with the Assistant Financial Manager on the ad-hoc duties
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
- Basic accounting and AP/AR skills as a minimum
- Ability to work within strict deadlines and reporting time tables
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Able to show initiative and be a self-starter
