Windgap Foundation currently has a Parental Leave CoverFull Time position (Maximum term contract for 13 Months) available within our Finance team. If successful, you will be working alongside a supportive team of finance professionals.
Reporting directly to the Senior Accountant, you will facilitate the accounts Payable and Receivable function with accuracy and in a timely manner.
Based in our Banksmeadow Head Office, with free on-site parking, the role responsibilities would include:
- Accounts Payable - review invoices, process invoices, maintain accurate records, prepare, and process payments in a timely manner.
- Accounts Receivable - generate and send invoices, record/reconcile payments, follow up on overdue/debtor payments, maintain accurate records.
- Assist the Finance team with the month end and year-end accounts and reconciliations.
- Participate in financial audits if required.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting.
Some work from home conditions may be considered for the right candidate.
Essential
- Strong commitment to inclusion of people with disabilities within the community;
- Demonstrated experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable duties
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently whilst contributing to team goals
- Computer literacy skills, including being a competent user of MS Applications including Word, Outlook, Excel and experience using databases;
- Be flexible, highly motivated, possess emotional intelligence, and willingness to subscribe to the Windgap mission and values;
- Maintain current NSW driver’s licence;
- Maintain an NDISWC Clearance.
Desirable
- Bachelor/ Diploma of accounting or equivalent
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV
