We are currently experiencing significant growth in new homes and secondary dwellings, and are looking to welcome an Accounts / Human resource Manager into our team. We have a range of innovative modular homes and also provide fully customized homes. We are ‘modular that doesn’t look modular' and have developed a niche in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Introducing the Team
We love the small-business mentality, where all core team members are involved in all aspects of the business, but at the same time have significant autonomy in their respective roles.
Saltair utilizes a large internal trade workforce and external workforce in the form of subcontractors and is looking for a full time accounts / human resource manager to support the above engagements.
The Role
- Entering / assessing / managing all Accounts receivable
- Entering / managing all accounts payable
- Managing and processing the weekly and monthly payroll
- Managing and upkeeping subcontractor compliance
- Labour allocation to projects
- Completing monthly bank reconciliation
- Develop more efficient processes and problem solve issues
- New employee onboarding
- Co-ordination of apprentice onboarding and liaison with training organizations.
- Drafting new employee contracts
- General Administration duties
- Company / Financial reporting
The Successful Candidate
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate;
- Experience in Jonas Premier / Key pay accounting software would be beneficial but not essential
- Experience in working within a construction company would be beneficial but not essential
- Accounting qualification preferable
- Experience with preparation of Monthly BAS Beneficial
- Ability to build relationships with subcontractors / suppliers
- Ability to take on new tasks and roles as the business grows
- Passionate and self-driven to look for cost efficiencies at all times
- Track record of at least 3+ years in the construction industry
- Experience as a contract administrator would be beneficial
- Experience in Employment Hero / Swag App would be beneficial
