- Full-time, permanent position
- Competitive salary: $70,000 to $85,000, based on experience.
- Day shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
- Office location: 12 Kingsley Close, Rowville Victoria 3178
Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely fulfilment of financial, statutory, and monthly reporting requirements.
- Manage balance sheet reconciliation, budget analysis, statutory payments, and cash management.
- Collaborate with external accountants for BAS and IAS lodgement.
- Handle bookkeeping and liaison with the ATO and Accountants
- Perform front desk duties, including answering calls and scheduling appointments.
- Process invoices efficiently and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Manage inbound and outbound customer calls for overdue accounts.
- Handle banking, allocation, and receipting tasks.
- Assist with year-end calculations and liaise with external accountants.
- Establish and maintain internal financial controls.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Provide finance-related support and advice to management.
- Review and analyse expenditure with managers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounts or similar role
- Experience with Zero accounting software
- Finance qualifications desired but not mandatory.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Confidence to work autonomously and make decisions.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain organisation.
- Proficient in stakeholder management and attention to detail
- Willingness to work in a hands-on capacity.
