Accounts Officer

The Role

Cornetts’ Support Office is looking for a team member to work in our Accounts team on a full-time basis.  We do not specifically require someone with accounts experience, as someone with inventory management skills would also fit this role.

Responsibilities of the role will include:

• Processing of both accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Accurately entering and processing accounts
• Reconciling accounts, invoices and statements
• Following up on outstanding debtors and creditors
• Providing assistance to stores and internal customers to answer questions and enquiries
• Other general administration tasks as required

The successful candidate will require the following:

• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and concepts
• Experience using enterprise systems, such as NAV, SAP or Oracle is preferable
• Analytical skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Customer service focus
