About the role
The Primary purpose of this role is to undertake service billing process to ensure accurate and timely billing to customers and manage AR to ensure on time collection and reduce bad debt risk. The right candidate will be working with a senior billing and AR officer.
- Generate service invoices in an accurate and timely manner.
- Submit invoices into customer designated platforms such as Ariba, Fieldglass
- Resolve customer billing queries and disputes with credit notes.
- Maintain billing tracker to stay on top of the key accounts.
- Follow up outstanding AR with BDM and minimize overdue.
- Reconcile customer accounts with effective communication of issues and solutions
- Coordinate with customer PM and internal stakeholders (PMO/SDR/BDM) to get the billing support information ready.
- Support Finance with ad hoc work.
What we are looking for:
- At least 1-2 years hands on experience in project/service billing
- Excellent organizational and planning skills, time management and prioritizing tasks
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Self-motivated with an initiative to problem solving
- Tertiary qualification in relevant field (e.g. Accounting or other equivalent)
