Our client is a prominent law firm offering a wide range of legal expertise, including in areas such as corporate and commercial law, litigation, property, employment, and more. The firm is recognized for its commitment to providing high-quality legal advice and has a strong reputation here in Melbourne.
This role is an excellent opportunity for a junior accounts/finance professional who is interested in progressing their career in a highly professional space. This role is based in a stunning central CBD office with the team typically attending the office four days with one day work from home.
The Challenge
Reporting to the National Accounts Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:
- Processing transactions across the firms multiple Trust bank accounts
- Input of invoices and payment of disbursements
- Reconciliation of vendor statements and responding to vendor queries
- Processing transactions for investment accounts including opening term deposits, monitoring and recording transactions in the ledger and monitoring of investment maturities
- Reconciliation of bank accounts
- Assisting Partners and PA's with accounts queries
