We Care Staffing Solutions (WCSS) is a successful and growing Nursing Agency and registered NDIS provider that provides quality health care staff to support facilities and individuals across Victoria, NSW, ACT and QLD. The role has become available due to company's expansion.
The Role
We are currently seeking a highly motivated full-time Accounts Officer to join our friendly team based in Narre Warren, Victoria. Working independently and alongside with our Senior Accounts Officer and Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for bookkeeping and maintaining accurate accounting practices in line with company and regulatory accounting standards.
Responsibilities
This role is to fulfill the accounting duties across the following range of our services, including, but not limited to - NDIS services, Workcover and TAC services, VHC/DVA services, Nursing Agency and Private clienteles.
- Management and processing of fortnightly and monthly payroll for up to 150 to 200 casuals’ employees using our in-house software which has MYOB integration
- Managing the accounts payable function, including the processing of invoices due for payment.
- Managing the accounts receivable function, including the allocation of payments.
- Reconciling bank accounts
- Managing Debtor payments
- Manage ALL invoicing and claiming for clients
Key Requirements for the role
- Diploma in Accounting or relevant field, minimum
- 2 years minimum experience in similar role
- Experience in NDIS Claiming is highly regarded via PACE/PRODA
- Advanced knowledge of variety of software including MYOB and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with a resourceful 'can do attitude'.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and confidentially
