Maxcon Constructions is a family operated construction company based in CBD looking to employ a highly skilled Accounts Payable person. The successful applicant will have suitable experience and qualifications. We are looking for an individual that is able to take responsibility for their role with the ability to multitask and prioritise. You will be reporting to the Finance Manager and your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Data entry of invoices and ensuring invoices are coded to the appropriate chart of accounts
- Ensure all supplier invoices are appropriately authorised and processed for payment
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Reconciliation of petty cash
- Reconciliation of credit card
- General administration duties
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Preferred experience using Cheops
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Minimum experience of 3 years in a similar role
The role requires high attention to detail and the successful applicant must be able to administer company practices regarding accounting policies.
The successful applicant will have a proven track record and a solid understanding in bookkeeping / accounting.
