The Role:
The 'business as usual' part is managing a high performing team of 5 Accounts Payable professionals. The people side of the business is excellent with lots of natural talent and cohesion. The other part of this role is an ongoing process improvement and automation project.
Initiatives are in place to help drive new efficiencies within the AP life cycle including utilizing the current software to it's optimum; implementing of a new invoice scanning system; and a focus on streamlining payment runs to achieve the best customer experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage a successful and driven team of 5 AP officers
- Review all overseas and local payment files for compliance within payment terms
- Involvement in business projects current and in future
- Build efficiency and streamline processes
- Manage the procurement cycle & maintaining supplier contracts and documents up to date
- Administer the Credit Card relationship/merchant facilities with the providers
- Support day to day and hands on approach
- Manage the PTR schedule quarterly
- Manage the Company Secretarial Compliance Requirements with ASIC and the NZ
- Attractive package Up to $130,000 + Super

- Having worked on implementing changes, automation and/or process improvement projects
- Excellent communication skills and strong customer service focus
