About the Position
Are you a seasoned Accounts Payable Officer searching for a chance to excel within a dynamic finance team? We're seeking individuals like you to become part of our vibrant team, located in the heart of Adelaide CBD, conveniently adjacent to Rundle Mall. In this role, you will play a vital part in guaranteeing the seamless and precise management of our Accounts Payable processes.
- Permanent Part-Time Role: 22.8 hours per week (0.6 FTE).
- Work hours: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Tuesday to Thursday, or can be spread across 4-5 business days.
Responsibilities:
- Efficient processing of supplier invoices to maintain timely payment schedules.
- Meticulous reconciliation of supplier statements, with a proactive approach to resolve any discrepancies.
- Responsibility for maintaining the accuracy and relevance of our customer and supplier database.
- Collaborate with the finance team to contribute valuable insights and support the ongoing development of our finance function.
- Willingness to assist with various ad hoc finance tasks as needed, showcasing adaptability and a proactive attitude.
About You
You will have the following skills, experience, and qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years in Accounts Payable, demonstrating a solid understanding of the role's responsibilities.
- Prior experience within the mining industry is advantageous.
- Familiarity with the Pronto accounting system is preferred, although not mandatory.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a small finance team, contributing positively to team dynamics and overall performance.
- Openness to evolving responsibilities and tasks as the role and team dynamics develop.
- A proven track record of meticulousness and accuracy in all aspects of work, ensuring precision in financial transactions and record
