Accounts Payable Officer 

We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our friendly team based  in Penguin Tasmania. This is an opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring smooth financial operations and contribute to a positive work environment. As part of our team, you'll be responsible for processing invoices, and maintaining accurate records.

Mader International Pty Ltd is a local Tasmanian company that specializes in the design and manufacture of ambulances and special vehicles for national clients

About the role….

• Process and verify invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain and manage our invoicing software system.
• Perform thorough vendor statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain and update internal control checklists for financial processes.
• Submit vendor change requests and manage vendor relations as needed.
• Assist with additional financial  ad-hoc service tasks as required.
• Assist with all aspects of our office administration
• This is a Full time role Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm

You will have….

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines, with strong attention to detail
• Capacity to work effectively in a team environment
• 2+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable (preferred)
• Permanent work rights in Australia
•  have Knowledge and be experienced with MYOB Account Right 
• Be skilled at documentation and formatting, with an attention to detail.
• Assist with the day to day maintenance  of our account receivable .
• Assist with end of month account preparation 
• Have data input experience and be able to pick up new systems easily.
• Be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Be willing to get involved and work effectively with those around them.
• Be highly organized, motivated and have the ability to use their initiative.
• Possess an outstanding client service manner.
• Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced work environment.
