A career opportunity – Accounts Payable, Payroll & Supplier Support Officer
The Accounts Payable, Payroll and Officer is a key role in the finance team coordinating all aspects of customer accounts and credit arrangements.
The core functions of position include:
- Accounts payable & account management – work with internal stakeholders, clients, service suppliers and vendors to set up accounts, issue purchase orders, match delivery dockets to orders and assist with queries relating to vendors and suppliers.
- Invoice and expenses processing – input invoices into Wiise, enter company accounts (fuel, phone etc) and credit card purchases into company systems.
- Inventory coordination – inventory reconciliation and discrepancy management, manage stock codes including new and discontinued stock, process journal adjustments as required and assist with queries relating to inventory.
- Payroll – input and process weekly payroll, end of month superannuation and monthly payroll tax. Administer employee records including set up of new employees, termination payments, end of year payroll finalisation, provision of information to the external accountant for income tax and FBT returns and maintaining training/license records. Assist with employee or external stakeholder queries in relation to payroll or employee records.
- Administration of rental properties – reconcile all rental payments, coordinate invoicing of rates, water rates and Land Tax, facilitate annual rent reviews for tenants, draft correspondence relating to rental agreements including CPI increases, and work with the Property Manager to facilitate lease extensions and new leases.
- Systems support and administration – act as a point of contact for company systems and administration to ensure smooth and efficient operations, including set up of IT, laptops, company mobiles, providing basic IT support and logging requests with IT, oversight of Wiise software, set up of new users and logging of issues, and managing customer logins to the website.
- Reporting and general administration – provide reports as required, including information for Tasmanian Freight Equalisation Subsidies (inward and outward), monthly customer data, sales reporting, inventory reporting, rental arrears reporting and other ad-hoc reports as required by the Company.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have previous Accounts Payable and Payroll experience with strong general administration skills, proficiency in IT and systems, an eye for detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
