The Finance Branch provides timely financial information, analysis and advice to all levels of this departments' management, particularly in the areas of budgeting, contract management, product costing, inventory control, variance analysis, banking services, and cash management and reporting.
Your new role
Under general direction, you will perform the functions of Accounts Payable, and other financial operations' administration, including but not limited to:
The duties of the position include:
- End-to-end Accounts Payable functions.
- Complying with the Mint's Accounts Payable policy and procedures.
- Processing Accounts Payable invoices and debit memos on a daily basis.
- Debtor management.
- Ensuring all money, including cheques, is received and banked promptly.
- Assisting with the preparation of the monthly cash flow.
- Assisting with monthly management reporting, including preparation of reconciliations.
- Preparing monthly Business Activity Statement.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Performing ad hoc accounting duties as required.
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Experience with SAP e-invoicing preferable.
- Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable functions, including debt management.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to learn new concepts quickly.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Capacity to work under pressure, managing multiple priorities to meet deadlines and adapting positively to change
Security clearance
A BASELINE security clearance may be required.
