THE ROLE 

The Accounts Payable Officer is a driven individual who is focused on accurate and efficient data entry. They will work within a team to support the day-to-day running of Accounts Payable, reviewing/processing of stock and
overhead invoices, maintaining ledger accuracy and integrity.

The role will require a strategic/analytical individual, a team player with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, demonstrating confidence, attention to detail and a 'can-do' attitude.
  
The key focus areas of the role include:

  • Review and process stock and overheads supplier invoices ensuring compliance with ATO legislation and company  requirements.
  • Review and process employee expense claims ensuring documentation is complete and expenses are in compliance with company business expense policy.
  • Review and record credit card expense claims ensuring documentation is complete and expenses are in compliance with company credit card policy.
  • Complete supplier statement reconciliations on a monthly basis.
  • Investigate and follow up stock and overhead invoice discrepancies.
  • Liaise with suppliers to resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain supplier Masterfile.
  • Prepare and process payment runs as scheduled.
  • Generate payments in multiple currencies.
  • Assist with month-end closing.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
  • Experience working in Accounts Payable.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to process high volume of invoices efficiently and accurately.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Enjoy working as part of a team.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Excel (intermediate), Word and Outlook.
  • Enjoy providing an excellent customer experience to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent planning & organisation skills.
