The role
You will work with a senior AP Officer and together you manage full function Accounts Payable function paying inventory and non-inventory invoices and staff expenses. Your new role involves:
- Managing the AP inbox, printing invoices, 3way matching, coding invoices and coordinating payment approvals.
- pay inventory invoices in AUD, Euros and USD using SAP.
- Reconciling creditor accounts.
- Reconciling company credit cards and paying expenses.
- Managing email and phone queries from suppliers and resolving invoicing issues.
- Assisting in preparation of BAS statements.
You will be be comfortable working with a highly experienced and efficient senior AP Officer who has an eye for detail and a willingness to train you. In order to be successful in your application, you will have:
- at least 1 years' recent Accounts Payable experience.
- good people skills and enjoy working with others.
- interested in working in a ordered and well-run function.
In addition to an hourly rate of $35-40 plus superannuation, enjoy parking at the door, very pleasant working conditions, training and a manageable workload. For those seeking a permanent role, this contract could very likely convert to a permanent role.
