And now, we're on the lookout for a meticulous Accounts Payable officer to join our Finance team. As an Accounts Payable officer, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices whilst delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. You will also provide general support to the wider finance team.
Reporting into the Finance Manager, this role will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Accurate and timely process of non-trade invoices and payments, including the expansion of the business in New Zealand
- Reconciliation and payment of rent invoices
- Credit card and staff expenses reconciliation, coding, processing, and payment
- Reconciliation of supplier accounts
- Vendor Setup and maintenance
- Month end reconciliation
- Timely filing of all relevant documents
- Support to the Finance team
- Cost reduction initiatives
- Month end processing including preparation of journals and reconciliations
- Various ad hoc reporting
Who you Are
- 1-2 years' minimum experience in a similar role
- Experience using Microsoft Navision System is preferred
- Intermediate computer literacy with Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Proven ability to work towards tight deadlines
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively deal with difficult situations and problem solve
