About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our team for a fixed-term period of 6 months. In this part-time (4 days per week) position, you'll enjoy a hybrid work arrangement: 2 days in our Bella Vista office and 2 days working from home.
As an Accounts Payable Officer, your primary responsibility will be to support our Accounts Payable Team in day-to-day AP activities. This includes efficiently processing incoming invoices, reimbursements, and credit card statements, maintaining accurate financial records and vendor data, and generating reports as required.
You'll also collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate essential processes and promptly resolve any queries or complaints. Additionally, you'll assist the Accounts Payable Manager and the wider Finance team with administrative tasks and other duties as needed.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience in an Accounts Payable role
- Qualifications in Accounting (e.g., Certificate IV/Diploma)
- Exposure to ERP & CRM software (desirable)
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to build strong internal relationships and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to work independently and proactively, identifying issues and potential solutions
- Advanced computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, database management)
