McIntosh Distribution is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join ourfast paced vibrant finance team in Redcliffe.

Reporting direct to the Financial Controller key duties will include:
- Processing supplier invoices.
- Supplier statement reconciliation.
- Supplier query resolution; keeping accurate and up to date notes on issues and outcomes.
- Assist with payment process.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Provide technical support and advice to other team members.
- Assist in the development of accounting policies, procedures, and systems to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Complete financial reports on a as needs basis and provide information to the Finance Controller.
- Providing administrative and ad hoc support to other team members during periods of absence.
- Ad hoc reporting when required.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- 2+ years’ experience working in an office setting.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations in a calm and professional manner.
- Strong data input experience with attention to detail
- Excellent people skills: able to establish strong working relationships and build rapport with colleagues and manager(s).
- Ability to multitask and prioritise projects.
- Punctual and able to manage time and workload effectively.
- Customer service oriented.
