The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer for our Subiaco Head Office.
Our Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for processing and managing payments to vendors and suppliers for goods and services received by the company.
This is a permanent position in our Accounts Team reporting to our Accounts Payable Manager, with the working hours Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily processing of invoices
Resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner
Maintain and update records
Reconciliations of supplier statements to invoices
Receive incoming invoices, match up with purchase orders, code and process in to accounts system
Monitor accounts payable payments
Assist EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) payments
Process staff expense reimbursements
The successful applicant will ideally have:
5+ years experience in a similar role
Experience in the construction or Mining Industry
Experience with Jobpac and Pronto (Advantageous but not essential)
Good communication and organisational skills, with an emphasis on team work
Excellent computer and accounting software skills
