YOUR OPPORTUNITY

Guided by the CFO, you'll play a pivotal role in our finance department, actively shaping the seamless operation of our Accounts Receivable processes.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Accounts Receivable: Oversee Accounts Receivable operations, implementing a proactive collections process through phone, email, and SMS, while managing allocations, receipting, and banking.
- Month-End Reconciliations: Perform month-end reconciliations to guarantee precision and completeness in financial records.
- Customer Enquiries: Initiate proactive communication with customers to promptly address inquiries, collaborating closely with Business Development Managers to foster positive relationships with all stakeholders.
- Aged Debtor Reporting: Consistently review and analyse the aged debtor report, identifying and addressing overdue accounts, and proactively taking actions to reach resolutions.
- Invoicing: Efficiently manage a large volume of invoicing with a focus on precision, conducting thorough and accurate checks for enhanced accuracy.
- Ad-Hoc Finance Tasks: Take on additional finance tasks as your experience grows, contributing to the overall success of the finance and admin team.
ABOUT YOU
You will have previous experience in Accounts Receivable, coupled with a sharp mind, keen attention to detail, and a passionate eagerness to succeed. A dedicated team player who values collaboration.
You will need:
- Previous experience of at least 2 years in a standalone Accounts Receivable position (distinct from general accounting roles).
- Demonstrated capability in managing a high volume of invoicing and handling a large number of accounts.
- Effective interpersonal skills and a personable nature to foster positive connections with customers, ensuring the timely collection of outstanding payments.
- Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems commonly used in managing Accounts Receivable. Previous experience with MYOB Advanced is beneficial.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, adept at promptly addressing discrepancies, and resolving issues.
- A strong understanding of Accounts Receivable compliance requirements and processes.
- Excellent communication skills - adept at engaging with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite – specifically excel. Strong excel skills required, with the ability to effectively utilise spreadsheet functions for data analysis and reporting.
- A willingness to stay updated on industry trends and advancements in Accounts Receivable practices.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
