We employ 300 staff at our Gillman head office and in our regional depots in Port Augusta, Whyalla, Port Pirie, Kadina, Clare, Berri and Victor Harbor. This network enables us to provide next-day express freight services to all South Australia (Metro and Regional), Broken Hill and Mildura.
We currently have a full-time position available for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will be responsible for managing customer accounts from their initial application and ongoing maintenance through to collection and allocation of customer payments. Vital to the role, will be maintaining strong relationships with customers, and ensuring enquiries and disputes are dealt with in a timely and appropriate manner to facilitate on time payment of invoices.
About You
- Previous practical and demonstrated experience with invoice collection and Accounts Receivable processes.
- Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
- Speed, attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in processing a high volume of transactions.
- Ability to work independently and to manage competing priorities across a large number of customer accounts in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with finance software.
