Accounts Receivable & Banking Officer

Opportunity for an Accounts Receivable & Banking Officer for a leading automotive retail organisation in Sydney's CBD.

About the role
Our client is a national leading automotive retail organisation that is in need of an experienced Accounts Receivable & Banking Officer to join their energetic team. The role is heavily based around reducing the age of debts through appropriate collection, receipting, allocating & Banking.
The responsibilities
Reporting into the finance manager, the main responsibilities include:

• Manage medium to large sized account reconciliations
• Resolving account inquiries as quickly as possible.
• Make payment allocations and collections of overdue accounts.
• Work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Assisting in credit projects when required.
• Help improve the level of DSO.
• Daily collection calling
• Daily banking

The successful applicant will have

• Excellent communication skills, (written and verbal) for liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in the Retail/automotive/consumer goods industry would be ideal.
• A flexible team player with exceptional customer service focus.
• Excellent Microsoft Office suite skills.
• A great team player who can socialise well within a team.
