Accounts Receivable Officer - No Collections!

Our ClientWe are delighted to be partnering with a well-known and highly reputable business who are currently based in North Sydney but have an office move planned for early next year to Western Sydney. They are seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to join their Finance team on a permanent, full time basis. This role will be mostly office based. 

Description

Duties will include, but not limited to; 

• Processing incoming payments inline with company procedures
• Completing high volume transactions
• Collecting relevant financial data for reporting
• Matching payments to debtors
• Accurate and timely reconciliations
• End to end Accounts Receivable process
• Other ad-hoc finance tasks as required 

ProfileAs an ideal applicant, you will have; 

• Proven experience within a similar capacity, be it AR, Assistant Accountant or Accounts Clerk 
• Academic studies within Accounting or Finance
• Strong Excel experience - V lookups & Pivot tables
• Sound systems knowledge
• Meticulous attention to detail 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong use of initiative and a proactive nature
