Their data-driven focus delivers value-added services and high-return network effects, creating substantial customer value.HRS's exponential growth since 1972 serves over 35% of the global Fortune 500 and leading hotel chains.Join HRS to shape the future of business travel, empowered by a culture of growth and setting new industry standards worldwide.THE MISSION OF THIS POSITION WITHIN THE BUSINESS UNITThe Accounts Receivable Supervisor has the responsibility for the smooth operations of the Accounts Receivable (AR) functions primarily sales invoicing, processing credit card receipts, outstanding debt collection, cash allocations, bank reconciliations, AR ledger and database maintenance, debtor reporting and the investigation of queries and disputes. In line with maintaining high internal standards the role is also required to exceed expectations and deliver unparalleled service to our customers and hotel partners.POSITIONWe are looking for a Sydney-based Accounts Receivable Supervisor (m/f/d) to ensure the smooth operations of the Accounts Receivable (AR) functions. The role reports to the Director of Finance.CHALLENGE

• Ensuring the accuracy of invoice uploads from the booking systems to the Finance package on a periodic basis, as defined in HRS policies and procedures. The AR Supervisor is also responsible for liaising with the Business Systems and Sales teams to ensure new clients are onboarded correctly.
• Processing credit card receipts accurately and on time via the business payment gateways.
• Establishing professional and constructive relationships with clients, regularly follow up all outstanding debts and ensure all clients comply with credit terms.
• Invoicing all commission invoices on a regular basis, undertake credit control procedures and ensure cash receipts from hotels are received in line with credit terms.
• Actioning customer queries and disputes in a timely manner, working with relevant departments as required.
• Independently prioritising and organising of work based on priority level.
• Processing credit card and EFT refunds as required.
• Ensuring cash and invoices in the AR Ledger are fully reconciled at all times.
• Supervising and mentoring AR direct reports (currently 2 FTE).
• Reviewing AR Ledger balances with management on a weekly basis, identifying any potential issues and suggesting future solutions.
• Preparing the AR section of the Finance Dashboard and support the broader team with AR reports as required.
• Managing petty cash balances.

FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH...

• Four-five years AR experience, two of which having elements of team supervision.
• Experience working with customers via telephone and email, with the ability to maintain professionalism and sensitivity within all correspondence.
• Good PC skills, and flexible to work across multiple IT applications.
• Solutions-focused with acute attention to detail; ability to solve complaints like a puzzle, i.e. arranging all parts quickly and solving them appropriately, achieving a positive outcome.
• Willingness to work within a team environment and take responsibility for your work.
• Fluency in English, verbal and written.
