About the role
We are currently seeking a detail orientated, fast paced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Brisbane based finance team.
Reporting to the Credit Control Team Leader, and based out of our state of the art, brand new Hamilton office, this role will join our small but efficient accounts team. This is a new position, that as our team and business expands, will be responsible for providing support across Accounts Receivable and credit functions for two of our businesses.
What you will do:
- Maintain up-to-date billing system, with robust follow-up, collection, and allocation of payments
- Reconcile bank statements
- Perform account reconciliation and monitor customer account details for non-payment, delayed payments, and other anomalies
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, mail or personally
- Work with sales and customer service team to support collection processes
- General administrative duties as required
Why you would be successful:
To really hit the ground running in this role you will have:
- At least 2 – 3 years experience in an Accounts Receivable role
- A high attention to detail
- The ability to work quickly and accurately to meet deadlines under pressure
- The tenacity to follow through on all problems to resolution
- High level MS Office suite skills
- A down to earth communication style, with an ability to communicate across all areas of our business successfully
- A collaborative, can-do attitude and approach to your work
- Preferably have experience with multiple accounts systems & software
