About the role
As the Accounts Receivable Officer, you are integral to the success of V/Line’s Corporate Services Group.
You will support V/Line’s ticket operations by promptly managing outstanding debts, monitoring revenue, and ensuring seamless payment processing.
Key Accountabilities include:
- Cultivating strong partnerships with our agents, ensuring timely returns and payments.
- Accurately calculating and process commissions, including quarterly service fees.
- Matching payments, processing adjustments, and maintaining accurate records.
- Addressing queries promptly and providing exceptional service.
- Generating insightful monthly reports for leadership to review
About you
As an accomplished Accounts Receivable professional, you bring precision and accuracy to every task. Your commitment to building strong relationships with stakeholders ensures the delivery of exceptional service. With extensive experience in similar roles, you’ve honed your expertise in debits, credits, and financial processes.
Our ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Demonstrated success in Accounts Receivable within medium to large-sized organizations.
- Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., Oracle JDE) is advantageous.
- In-depth understanding of POS systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel and associated reporting functions
- Demonstrated alignment to V/Line’s values of responsiveness, integrity, impartiality, accountability, respect, leadership and human rights.
