About The Role
We have a great opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join the Finance team, based at our office in Truganina, VIC. Reporting to the Shared Service Manager - AR, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate processing of our company's Accounts Receivable, effectively coordinating the flow of job/project activities to ensure correct and timely Invoicing. The key focus of this role is high volume invoice creation.
Working in a dynamic environment, your key responsibilities will include:
- High volume invoice creation
- Assembling complex customer payment claims
- Creating and issuing credit notes
- Working with the scheduling and operations team to ensure accurate and timely invoice creation
- Ensuring customers are billed in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensuring customer’s queries are responded to promptly via email/phone calls in order to maintain a high level of customer experience
- Identify invoicing and data process issues and provide timely solutions
- Understanding Operational and Job Management systems to ensure proper flow of Information to Invoicing
- Responsible for month end process including sales accruals, customer spend actual/budget reporting etc
- Assisting Financial Controller in developing and maintaining accurate costing systems
- Working closely with internal/external project teams to update and implement new systems covering invoicing, internal control and administrative processes

About You
To be successful for this role, you will have:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar, high volume, Accounts role
- Cert IV, Diploma or above within a business, accounting, finance, or related field, is advantageous but not essential
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in the full Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
- Excellent time management skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and manage your own workload under tight deadlines
