Your new role 
A leading company in the logistics sector is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our finance team as an AR Officer / Collections Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Accounts Receivable ledger, ensuring timely collection of payments, and handling customer enquiries related to billing.Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain the Accounts Receivable ledger and ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Generate and send out invoices and account statements.
• Facilitate swift payment of invoices by sending bill reminders and contacting clients with outstanding accounts.
• Reconcile discrepancies in accounts received.
• Provide solutions to any relative problems of clients.

What you'll need to succeed 

Proven experience as an AR Officer, Collections Officer, or similar role.

Excellent knowledge of billing procedures.

Contact clients and discuss their overdue payments.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
