Accounts Receivable/Credit Officer

Lawson Elliott is excited to be working with a reputable & well-established company who is looking to welcome in a confident Accounts Receivable/Credit Officer to join their Brisbane team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a great team & be responsible for your own ledger.

Reporting to the Credit Manager, your key responsibilities will be, but are definitely not limited to:

• End to end Credit & Accounts Receivable function 
• Maintaining financial records accurately
• Debt collection - ensuring timely payment of debts
• Performing debt recovery processes & negotiate payment plans with customers
• Weekly & monthly reporting 
• Bank reconciliations 
• Preparation of bills and invoices for clients
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
• Resolving accounts to the general ledger
• Managing the credit team inbox and respond to queries
• Ad-hoc duties as required

To be considered for this role:

• 2+ years proven work experience as a Accounts Receivable/Credit Officer or similar role
• Strong and confident communication skills 
• Exceptional verbal, written and customer service skills 
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
• Strong interpersonal, analytical & numeracy skills
